Another powerful storm is headed for California. Clouds are already filling our skies but the storm won’t reach here until Thursday morning. This one will move through a little faster but the ground is so saturated, flooding is likely. The wettest parts of the Bay Area could see between 2″ to 5″ of rain. Mudslides are also very likely. The winds will also be very strong with gusts from 40 to 50 mph that will likely bring down trees and power lines.
A few showers will linger into Friday but we’re expecting a big change for the weekend.
Starting Saturday we begin a much needed break in the stormy weather. There should be plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 60’s. It’s going to feel almost like Spring 🙂 The weather pattern should remain dry through next Wednesday.
Storms could return as early as next Thursday. In fact, after that it could remain very stormy until the end of the month.
